Hey everyone, Happy New Year and all of that jazz! Hope you all had a great holiday season.

I am going to keep it short and sweet. The time has come to call this blog quits, so this will be my last blog post on here. I have been working on designing my new website  DanBradleyDesign.com . I am very proud to call this new site my home, as I’ve spent a great deal of time teaching myself coding and getting it to look so handsome. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, as this will be my first venture into great things for db design in 2012. Keep your eyes peeled, you’ll want to watch out for my name.

Take care, and best of luck to you 2012.

dbdesign in Times Square, NY

For the past year, I have been working on the artwork, package design, advertising and promotion of the highly controversial “ASerbian Film“. I have been extremely busy with this project, and I am very proud of the branding we gave the film for US distribution.  I have been so grateful to be given to opportunity to complete such a high-profile task, as well as creating artwork that will go down in history forever attached to “the most controversial film of all-time.”
Times Square New York

This week, I was informed by a co-worker that my package artwork featured in a small teaser AD, that I had designed for “A Serbian Film“, was featured in Times Square, NY on the giant television screen above the AT&T store. Pretty cool, huh? The DVD/Blu-Ray will be hitting retail on October 25th, even if you are not a supporter of the film, you can at least appreciate a nice package design.
Until next time.

Jedi Mind Tricks breaks Billboard Top100

I just received some great news from one of my most faithful and best clients over the years, Jedi Mind Tricks on EnemySoil Records. Their most recent and anticipated release “Violence Begets Violence” broke the “Billboard Top 100″ last week. This is a pretty amazing experience to be part of. Those guys deserve all of the success in the world, and I am more than proud to be part of their team. I just got a “thank you” email from Yan (label manager) and a “thank you” tweet from the mastermind behind Jedi Mind Tricks, himself, Vinnie Paz.

I just want to take this time to thank Jedi Mind Tricks and EnemySoil Records for bringing me into your family. It’s been a huge pleasure and dream to work with you guys over the past three years.

Cheers fellas, well deserved!

dbdesign raises money to help promote men's health - Movember

Welcome to November, recently nicknamed “Movember” by men across the globe. This year I am taking part in Movember. I will be raising money to promote men’s health, prostate cancer and other cancer research that is effecting men all over the world. Along the way, I will be growing my awesome mustache back (see my Movember profile). I feel it is very important to raise awareness in men about these issues, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle. In this crazy world today, I feel that health is sometimes overlooked and health problems are pushed aside due to lack of time or knowledge. 1 in 6 men in their lifetime will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. This means at one point or another, you will either know someone diagnosed or be related to someone.

Cancer is a mass murdered in our world today, and we need to raise awareness, chances are most people won’t think about it until it happens to them … don’t be that person.

I have attached my link below accepting donations towards cancer research and awareness. I promise you it is legit, check it out for yourself. If you don’t want to donate, please at least rate my profile page and read the information on the website.

Hey everyone, haven’t forgot about this blog…well not entirely…well almost entirely.

Have been very busy lately. These past few weeks I have been designing, finalizing and prepping all of the DVD and Blu-Ray package artwork for A Serbian Film. Had a bit of a hectic week last week prepping and printing a bunch of things for the Monster Mania Convention in Cherry Hill NJ, where we featured the A Serbian Film banned posters and DVD artwork.

Other than that, it’s all been a waiting game. Still trying to find some time to get my website finished, which doesn’t appear to be happening soon.

Well, there is a quick update. I am going to try to stay more with this and post more frequently. hopefully I will get the opportunity to finish my website soon enough.

Best,

db

Hey everyone, it has been awhile, as it usually seems to be when I remember to update this blog.

Have had a lot going on lately, I am still trying to hammer away at getting my new website up and running strong. I have recently had one of my projects featured on an article with several other fellow designers and illustrators on Abduzeedo.com, which is an amazing design and art website.  http://abduzeedo.com/illustrated-music. I have been working to get FlixFling.com looking awesome, and it is coming along amazingly, I highly recommend that you check it out. Apple has recently just pushed my updated user interface design through for the iPhone and iPad FlixFling app, which you can find in the apple app store. I am very proud of how this design looks, very sleek and smooth. Also working on a new branding and identity for a branch-off from FlixFling, which will be announced shortly.

Last week I was interviewed by my graduating college Hussian School of Art. They were interested in interviewing me as a “graduating success story”. I am always honored when Hussian calls upon me. I later received an amazing recommendation :

”Dan is probably one of the most truly talented individuals I have ever had the pleasure to teach and know. He is a serious and enthusiastic professional, always hungry to learn, challenge himself and extend his skills and abilities to their limit. Each time I catch up with him now as a graduate, I am thrilled by what he has accomplished. However, I am not surprised – it was clear from very early on that Dan aspired to reach great success, and was always willing to give 200% of himself in order to attain his success.”

More to come shortly.

I have been honored once again by my graduating college Hussian School of Art. I have been asked to be interviewed as a Hussian School of Art “success story”. I am extremely honored and humbled by this.

I have been working a lot lately on several different projects. Getting ready to take a week off and lay on the beach in Mexico and drink margaritas. Then it will be back to business as usual, and I will be hitting it hard. It’s pedal to the metal after my vacation and full speed ahead.

I have worked up a matter painting self-portrait of myself last night (banner below). I will have some new awesome work up soon. …Until next time.
